CHILDRENS' Drawing and PAint​ing

​Ages 8 - 17

     Learn the basics of drawing and painting, including the techniques artists use to create successful art works.  Lessons are geared towards student interest.  Learn to be an expert at one medium, or combine a variety of media in the creation of artworks, including (but not limited to) watercolors, pastels, colored pencils, acrylic paints, oils, sculpture and mixed media.

    Classes include learning about famous artists, what makes an artwork "famous," and how to create your own "style."     We try to group students with others of similar ages.

            Group Lessons:  $105 per month.  Lessons are 1 hour each week.

             Private Lessons: $180 per month. Lessons are 1 hour each week.

  *We provide all materials except canvas.  Students provide their own canvas.

   **  I get many calls from parents with children 5-7.  In my experience, these ages are not ideal for the type of lessons we do.   Feel free to call when they are 8 and older.  Thank you.

        DIGITAL ART CLASSES  

                      Ages 11 - Adult

       Digital Lessons are Private lessons only.

    Learn to use Adobe Photoshop in the creation

​ of digital drawings, paintings and photographs

  on the computer.  Learn basic secrets of

 professional photographers and digital artists

  in the creation of fun and stunning works

   of art!

​         Learn to:

        *Brighten or enhance dark photos    

         *Add contrast or clean up photos

         *Retouch your photos

         *Restore old and cherished photos

        *Change colors, backgrounds or people

      in your photos.

        Private Lessons: $180 per month.  Lessons are 1 hour each week.

              ADULT ART LESSONS

          Adult Drawing and Painting(Ages 18 & up)

 Have fun while learning the basics of drawing and painting, including the techniques

artists use to create successful art works.  Lessons are geared towards student interest.
